Challenges

Fuji-Q Highland wanted to make Japan’s most famous amusement park accessible to English-speaking visitors. The existing site was entirely in Japanese and lacked a user experience tailored to international guests. Rain Interactive was tasked with transforming static designs into a fully responsive, bilingual website that preserved the park’s dynamic brand while ensuring clear information and seamless navigation across desktop, tablet, and smartphone.

Solution

In collaboration with Fujisankei and GPlus Media, Rain Interactive developed a single-page, responsive site built on an open-source CMS. We implemented flexible layouts for ride descriptions, pricing tables, and multimedia backgrounds with parallax effects, ensuring each element adapted elegantly to varying screen sizes. English translations were integrated alongside the original Japanese content, and intuitive navigation components guided users to ticketing, attraction details, and visitor information without overwhelming them.

Outcome

The new Fuji-Q Highland site offers an engaging bilingual experience that reflects the park’s thrills and atmosphere. English-speaking visitors can now effortlessly explore attractions, view pricing, and plan visits on any device. Feedback from international users highlights the site’s clarity and visual appeal. By enabling the park team to update content independently, Rain Interactive has ensured ongoing consistency, speed of updates, and a welcoming digital gateway for guests from around the world.
